~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Editor,
 - The VETERANS of Northern California and especially
Shasta County would like to recognize the incredible work that the
"Shasta Lake Lions Club"
does each year in honoring
our "LIVING VETERANS" on Veterans Day.
 - They work almost 9 months a year to make this wonderful
and patriotic event happen.  They raise the money it takes to
put on this event and spend countless hours working on the
 many aspects of the parade to make it all come together
on the Saturday before Veterans Day.
 - The City of Shasta Lake and Shasta County also are
an incredible part of this effort and support the Lions
with everything they need to make this one of the
primer Veterans Parades in California.
 - A final THANK YOU to Mr. Robert Maraviov who has
insured that the Parade has had an Air Force Flyover
each  year.
 - God Bless our Warrior fight the Global War On
Terrorism and "Thank You Shasta Lake Lions
for all of your patriotic work to honor all of the "Living".
