Hasta la vista, Baby!!! MarketFest Closes Out the 2007 Season

MarketFest 2007 closed-out with 4000+
party hungry folks eating, drinking, visiting,
dancing, and enjoying each others company.
This being the 12th year, since The Premiere
Summer Time Event was born out of the
need of a medium sized city (Redding) to
express community through the Arts and
Entertainment.
After so many years, one would expect
"practice makes perfect" and so it was:
Vendors, Sponsors, Theater/Choir Groups,
Musical Entertainers, and Volunteers co-existed
in absolute Harmony with one purpose; Make
MarketFest, the Place to be on any Thursday
Evening..

"Parting is such sweet sorrow", was reflected
in the 1000's of happy faces.

Tonight the produce on MartetFest's Farmers
Market Row was extra succulent and juicy.

The Micro-Brewed Beers and Fine Vintage
Wines were extra heady and romantically
intoxicating..

The Food, Soft Drinks, along with the Ice
Cream were extra tasty

And the 100's of Dancer's danced like "there
was no tomorrow".  Each in their own way
imagining life; without MarketFest..

Presenting North Valley Bank (NVB) with a
'Thank-You" plaque for their gracious funding
of the 2007 MarketFest Season, is John Truitt,
CEO of Viva Downtown.
