Redding's Big Bike Weekend (BBW) returned with it's
'new format', i.e., essentially the event directors
have declared the enterprise a 502-C3 and plan
on returning the bulk of the proceeds to the
community.
Ever since BBW has been directed by the
current leadership team, major changes have
been implemented resulting in omitting some
of the past's most popular attractions. 
The BBW Super Cruise has bit the dust causing
 a reactive ripple in the North States Motorcycle
crowd.  Bikers from as far away as Oregon and
Washington are mystified, disappointed;
 finding other Bike Shows and Bike Events
to attend that bring some 'grit' and 'satisfaction'
to their motorcycle lifestyles.

"I go to church every Sunday and live my life as
close to the Golden Rule as possible," said one
Big Biker, who wishes to remain anonymous to
avoid repercussions from his workplace -
Redding's City Hall. "Redding (Big Bike Weekend)
has earned the reputation of 'the only Bike show
with a PG rating'... Bikers, including myself and my
wife.. and my grown kids expect a more down to
earth experience.. Not that we have to be 'Sturgis
West'.. no that might be taking it too far.. but
something that encourages folks to get down
with their biker buds... "
The above comments are repeated again and again
by those who still participate/attend the event.
"I would like to see a more adult... you know at
least PG-13.. oh, what the heck... R-rated Bike
Show.. and I feel young kids should not come
unless they meet certain age requirements.."
said a very beautiful 20'ish female Harley
owner, "even the Bands are.. well, the kind
you expect when you go to a college event,
not a bunch of Harley owners, looking to
live the life.. "

On Friday night, Logan's Road House
hosted the only 'gritty' motorcycle experience
with super hot models from Tropical Tan
showing off the latest swim suits,
lingerie, and the latest styles for the wildly
young at heart.
